The Ceremony Lawn

Our famous ceremony lawn overlooks the Pacific Ocean, and Los Angeles county to the north. On most days, you can see the Santa Monica mountains, purple on the horizon as well as the various beach towns bustling along the coastline. While some of our couples host their ceremony off-site, most opt to host their ceremony here on the Palos Verdes stone platform. We provide all ceremony seats, up to 200. Special features include hidden ceremony speakers, hidden power outlets, new St. Augustine grass, a Palos Verdes stone veranda and walkway, optional heaters and overhead lighting.

The Ballroom

With its original, hand-hewn ceilings and gorgeous working fireplace, the 930 sq. foot ballroom beautifully accommodates a space to dance while overlooking the entire Los Angeles skyline. The ballroom has six doors that swing wide open into the fresh ocean breeze. Featuring new floors, new speakers, and stylish chandeliers; the ballroom captures the charm of the twenties with the effectiveness of modern technology. Special features include dimmable lights, wireless mic, and all-season air conditioning.

The Courtyard

The Courtyard features a Spanish fountain with historic blue tile that acts as a centerpiece during your joyful and bubbly cocktail hour. The 1,050 sq. foot courtyard has Palos Verdes stone walkways, european-style arbors with crawling flowering vines. You can look up at the iconic cupola and hear background music through our new speaker system. Special features include: direct doors to newly renovated bathrooms, new walking path lighting, and walkways perfect for passed hors d’oeuvres or delicious grazing stations.

The Garden Rooms

Our dining rooms host the most magical moments. It’s all about the food. The massive windows in the Garden Rooms and adjacent Middle Room overlook the ocean to the north and our lush gardens to the east. The unique open doors and multi-leveled floor plan creates character, as if you’re inviting guests into your home. The garden rooms total 1,180 sq. feet in size. Special features include new speakers, wireless mic, new carpet, and new gold sconces.

Getting Ready Spaces

Ocean Cottage

The Ocean Cottage was built in 1946 on the west side of the property overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Perfectly placed so that you can exit and walk directly to the ceremony at the right moment, this cottage allows for a tranquil pre-ceremony experience. Designed for the wedding party to get ready, the Ocean Cottage provides a remodeled bathroom, 2 getting-ready stations and picture-perfect details at every turn.

 

The cottage includes designer light fixtures, rugs, and other design elements sure to set the perfect romantic tone to your day. We provide beautiful mirrors, excellent lighting, air conditioning, and even a bluetooth speaker so you can set the mood as you prepare for your wedding. Surrounding the Ocean Cottage are perfect first look photo session spots. Be sure to make time for photos in the historic “keyhole” lookout.

Hideaway Suite

The Hideaway Suite lies hidden behind the venue and provides loads of privacy, sound proofing and sunshine. With a full patio, lawn and lawn games, living room, and getting-ready room with wardrobes, this is the perfect place to prep and relax for the big day.

 

The suite includes designer light fixtures, new furniture, a full bathroom, bluetooth speaker, La Venta cornhole set, and even a marble table for writing last minute vows.
