We’re now offering our iconic outdoor ceremony lawn as a dedicated space for celebrating your most magical moment, available for standalone ceremonies, vow renewals, and elopements.
Your Historic Wedding Ceremony Venue
La Venta Inn was built in 1923 and was the first building on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Our famous ocean-view ceremony lawn overlooks the Pacific Ocean, as well as the various South Bay beach towns along the coastline. With views of Los Angeles county to the north, on most days you and your guests can also enjoy views of the Santa Monica mountains.
While most opt to use the stone alter on our outdoor ceremony lawn, if you would prefer to host your ceremony indoors, you may also select our indoor ballroom featuring wooden floors, a stone fireplace backdrop, and wood beam ceilings, with sweeping ocean views through the glass doors and windows.

We’re proud to offer ceremony only services at our venue for a maximum of 100 guests at the following times:
Ceremonies can be held on weekends or weekdays at the following times:
10am, 12:30pm, 3pm*, 5:30pm*
*Restrictions may apply at these times (Friday-Sunday)
Following is a sample timeline for a 3:00pm Ceremony:
- 2:00pm – Arrival of wedding couple, wedding party, ushers, and vendors; Photos begin
- 2:30pm – Arrival of guests
- 3:00pm – Ceremony begins
- 3:30pm – Ceremony ends; Guests exit
- 3:30pm-3:55pm – Photos on property
- 4:00pm – Departure of wedding couple, wedding party and all guests

Now available for all couples looking for a Los Angeles venue for a wedding ceremony only, vow renewal, or elopement.
Friday – Sunday: $5,500
Monday – Thursday: $4,000
We ask that a Reservation Fee of the full amount be given at the time you place your reservation. Fees are non-refundable.
